Roundhead Touch-a-Truck Community Outreach

On August 1, 2026, the crew from Upper Scioto Valley Ambulance District proudly participated in the Roundhead Annual Touch-a-Truck event. Throughout the day, our team enjoyed teaching the public Hands Only CPR, giving community members a chance to practice life-saving skills in a relaxed, friendly setting. We also demonstrated the stair chair, showcased a basket stretcher mounted on Roundhead Fire Department's new side-by-side, and walked visitors through an allergic reaction scenario to highlight how we respond in real emergencies.

Guests were invited to explore the ambulances inside and out, ask questions, and learn more about the equipment we use every day. Our crew truly appreciated the opportunity to connect with everyone who attended, answer their questions, and help build confidence in emergency care. It was a rewarding day of education, engagement, and partnership with our community, and we look forward to taking part in future events that bring first responders and residents together.
