We Have Land!!

On February 3, 2025, Upper Scioto Valley Ambulance District closed on their new property South of Alger on State Route 235 on the West side of the road past County Road 126 and before County Road 130. This is such an exciting time for our district as the response times to the entire district will greatly improve. We are currently working with a consulting firm, Garminn Miller out of Minster, to ensure we do everything required by the state to operate legally as an Emergency Medical Service building.  We do not have dates yet as far as ground breaking but this project will likely not move very quickly at all and we could be looking at next year before its done or possibly even later. There are so many laws and regulations as an Emergency Medical Service that we are required to do and have. This is a massive step in the right direction to better serve our ambulance district. We are beyond grateful for the support and the opportunities we have received to make all of this possible. Dreams are becoming reality.
